Welcome to the ExISI network! Welcome to the brand new website for all former students of the International School Ibadan. We are excited to present to you this online community because, we believe it will foster the growth of a much needed alumni association. As technology has evolved so have we aligned with the best in online communities. In this regard we have taken additional steps to make this site as interactive as possible and made sure its content is current and exciting with the help of user generated information. In short, you take ownership of your space, determine who you want as friends and journal within reasonable language. Work is ongoing on the site especially in the area of look and feel. All suggestions and skills that can help improve the website are welcome. Let us not forget our alma mater, our common denominator, and the reason we are able to come together in the first place. There are those of us who would want to give back. As the community grows and becomes more defined, it is expected that some groups will come up with initiatives. The community (www.exisi.org) is open to all former students but membership is through invitation. We ask that you share this information and invite as many ex-isites as possible.
Thank you
NEWS!
The current principal of ISI, Mr. Mark Malik was involved in a terrible auto accident on December 9, 2008. He was on his way back to Ibadan from Edo state when his vehicle got involved in an accident in Owo. With him were his three children and a sister. Unfortunately, he lost his 18 year old daughter (a student of the Obafemi Awolowo University) in the incident. Everyone else is in critical condition but thankfully, Mr. Malik is much better and resumed work three weeks ago at ISI. Our prayers are with him and his family at this difficult time. He can be reached at principalisi@yahoo.com.
